A New Week Begins

Forward troubles Illinois, lock the front door, oh boy!
Look at all the happy creatures dancing on the lawn.
Bother me tomorrow, today, I’ll buy no sorrows.
Doo, doo, doo, lookin’ out my back door.
I’ve never attended Moody Church before, but I did today at John’s house. The flag of Christ flew unrivaled, the teaching was sound, and it was a good time of refreshment, even if the personal aspect was missing until John poured me a couple of glasses of sweet – really sweet – Southern-style iced tea.
As I walked the mile or so back to David’s house and realized I’m getting some combination of older and out of shape, David picked up Don Octavio and his family, who came over for a Bible study that is as much a language learning experience for David as it is a Bible learning experience for Octavio and his children.
Tomorrow at 6:15 (hora latina, methinks) we head out for Panama. If I get enough of a break to head off to Chiriquí Grande and I can figure my way around a Latin American keyboard, I’ll send an update from there. Otherwise this is it until Friday.
God bless you all, thank you for your prayers, and may God be glorified in this time!

I should have put this up yesterday: Andrew, David, Lucy, and Levi Jones about to dig into a feast of pinto con huevos revueltos.
